Keeping with the goat theme, here’s an interesting fellow.  The farrier and I were calling on a client at his farm when I see one of the more peculiar things.  A goat, determined to get to the grass in an adjacent paddock, squeezed his body under a low fence much like the way a cat does.  I had no idea goats were able to bend that way – like he had no bones.

I pointed to the goat in astonishment and all I could manage to say was, “um, your goat”.  The client laughed and assured me he’ll be back when he’s good and ready.  Sure enough, after taking a few bites of fresh grass, the goat returned to his paddock with quite a smug look on his face.

Meet Harry, the self satisfied goat.
