When crossing the road, every instinct tells you to first look to your left but that’s no longer true in our new home.  Seems simple enough of a task but the actual application becomes more complicated once your foot leaves the sidewalk and hits the pavement.  At that very moment, your instinct and brain both fight for dominance leaving your body all kinds of confused.  The sight of Steve and me crossing the road resembles a couple of ostriches on the lam from the farm.  We look right, left, scamper forward, retreat back to the sidewalk, try again, heads craned forward, looking up, down, backwards, forwards and after some panicked steps, make it to the other side.
