I’ve always been slightly suspicious of root beer. Why are they so coy about what kind of root they make their beer from?

A yam is a root, so is a carrot. I don’t want any beer made from these things.

This is in addition to the fact that the only real beer is, well, BEER.

But if you have to have a beer made from roots, you could do far worse than ginger beer.

(As an aside, at first I thought ginger beer was just for redheads. Or maybe it was made out of actual redheads…)

Anyway, this particular ginger beer, made by Bundaberg, has big pieces of ginger floating around in it.  It’s pretty awesome.

Though if someone made a beer made out of little pieces of Christina Hendricks, I certainly would buy a few cases.
